FWM Records was started by Mike Nock as a way to publish and release music projects.

At a time when opportunities to release music commercially are shrinking, musicians need to find other ways.

With FWM Records, Nock is able to choose and release music he has created solo, with Mike Nock Trio, the Trio Plus or the Mike Nock Octet – as well as special collaborations such as Kindred with drummer Laurenz Pike and Two-Out with New Zealand saxophonist Roger Manins.
